State of the forest raises concern

A very disappointing discovery in the State forest near Whroo of some of the area’s iconic Grass Trees which have been destroyed through an act of environmental vandalism. The species is known for its slow growth rate and stunning form as it inhabits the forest floor in clusters and provides habitat for grounddwelling species such as the wallaby. Neil Laurie was recently embarrassed by the state of the forest when showing visitors around.
